NGO "Pagalbos paaugliams iniciatyva" ("The Initiative of adolescent assistance") (hereinafter - PPI) is a successful, nonprofit organization operating for 17 years. PPI mission is to ensure the well-being of a child by involving and empowering his/her family, community, and the society. The main activity of the PPI is to work with prospective and existing foster parents, adoptive parents, on-call careers, their foster and adopted children, households, community care home staff. PPI's activities aim to ensure that provided services and initiated projects would contribute to the positive education, upbringing and development of the physical and psychological well-being of adopted children and children in foster care. Also, PPI’s activities are seeking to contribute to the changes of the society's negative attitudes towards foster care and adoption. The vision of PPI is to create a proactive, united team that aims to contribute to emotionally healthy and safe environment for each child. The purpose of the PPI’s Care Center is to provide counseling, psychosocial and other needed help to foster and adoptive children, their foster, adoptive parents, on-call careers, or persons intending to become such. Also, we aim to promote foster care, adoption and proper childcare, upbringing and education of the child, protection of his / her interests and rights and representation in the family-friendly environment when the child is not raised by his / her biological parents.
VšĮ „Pagalbos paaugliams iniciatyva“ (toliau – PPI) tai jau 17 metų sėkmingai veikianti ne pelno siekianti organizacija, kurios misija užtikrinti vaiko gerovę, įtraukiant ir įgalinant šeimą, bendruomenę ir visuomenę. Pagrindinė PPI veiklos kryptis yra darbas su globėjais, įtėviais, asmenimis, norinčiais jais tapti, budinčiais globotojais, specialistais ir tais, kurie domisi globa, įvaikinimu, budinčių globotojų vykdoma veikla, šeimomis. PPI savo veikla siekia, kad teikiamos paslaugos, inicijuojami projektai prisidėtų prie globojamų ir įvaikintų vaikų pozityvaus ugdymo, auklėjimo, lavinimo ir jų fizinės bei psichologinės gerovės kūrimo, visuomenės neigiamų nuostatų apie globą ir įvaikinimą keitimo. PPI vizija – proaktyvi, vieninga komanda, kryptingai siekianti, kad kiekvienas vaikas augtų emociškai sveikoje ir saugioje aplinkoje.PPI Globos centro tikslas – teikti konsultacinę, psichosocialinę ir kitą pagalbą tėvų globos netekusiems vaikams, jų globėjams (rūpintojams), budintiems globotojams, įtėviams ar asmenims, ketinantiems jais tapti. Skatinti vaiko globą (rūpybą), įvaikinimą bei tinkamą vaiko priežiūrą, auklėjimą ir ugdymą, jo interesų ir teisių
