Budgetary institution Klaipeda City Social Support Centre is a municipal budgetary institution, which has been organizing and providing social services for over 21 years. The Centre is a leader in social service provision in Klaipeda, and has been awarded the status of a Methodological centre for the second time. We work in partnership with universities and other higher education institutions which have social worker study programmes. We provide practice placements for trainee social workers and take part in the preparation of study programmes. The mission of the centre is to provide social services to the residents of Klaipeda aiming at their integration into community and helping them to avoid social marginalization and poverty. The recipients of social services are elderly people, people with physical disabilities, unemployed people, and people at social risk. The team of the Centre consists of 144 workers providing social services to 1623 residents of Klaipeda. The Centre provides a wide range of services including home help, day foster service in a person’s home, and general social services – transport, mediation and representation, provision of compensatory equipment, providing information and consultancy, accompanying, socio-cultural services, provision of clothing and footwear, and other essentials, and integration of asylum-granted foreigners. We are innovative, and we have implemented 36 projects (programmes) working together with social partners, including 16 projects funded from the national budget, European Union funds andother funds. We are seeking the EQUASS quality system certificate to further improve the quality of the services provided by the Centre, and the staff competences, and to enhance the quality of life of the recipients of our services.
Biudžetinė įstaiga Klaipėdos miesto socialinės paramos Centras – savivaldybės biudžetinė įstaiga, daugiau nei 21 metus organizuojanti ir teikianti socialines paslaugas. Centras yra viena iš lyderiaujančių Klaipėdoje socialines paslaugas teikiančių įstaigų, kuriam 2 kartą suteiktas Metodinio centro statusas. Bendradarbiaujame su šalies universitetais ir aukštosiomis mokyklomis, rengiančios socialinius darbuotojus, priimame studentus atlikti praktiką, dalyvaujame rengiant mokymų programas. Centro misija – teikti klaipėdiečiams socialines paslaugas, siekiant juos integruoti į bendruomenę ir padėti išvengti socialinės atskirties ir skurdo. Socialinių paslaugų gavėjai – senyvo amžiaus asmenys ir asmenys su fizine negalia, bedarbiai, asmenys, patiriantys socialinę riziką. Įstaigos komandoje – 144 darbuotojai, teikiantys socialines paslaugas 1623 klaipėdiečiams. Centras teikia platų spektrą socialinių paslaugų: pagalbos į namus, dienos socialinės globos asmens namuose ir bendrąsias socialines (transporto, tarpininkavimo ir atstovavimo, aprūpinimo techninės pagalbos priemonėmis, informavimo ir konsultavimo, lydėjimo, sociokultūrines, aprūpinimo būtiniausiais rūbais, avalyne ir kitais daiktais, prieglobstį gavusių užsieniečių integracijos) paslaugas. Esame inovatyvūs ir kartu su socialiniais partneriais įgyvendinome 36 projektus (programas), iš kurių net 16 buvo finansuojami iš Valstybės biudžeto, Europos Sąjungos fondų bei kitų rėmėjų lėšų. Siekiame EQUASS kokybės sistemos sertifikato, kad ir toliau tobulinti Centro teikiamų paslaugų kokybę, darbuotojų kompetencijas ir gerinti mūsų paslaugų gavėjų gyvenimo kokybę.
